๐ต๐ฌ Papua New Guinea to ๐ฎ๐ณ IndiaYou'll need an adapter. Plugbert believes in you.
India uses 230 V and Papua New Guinea uses 240 V, but similar nominal voltages do not guarantee compatibility. Check that your device's input rating covers the destination supply.
What to pack
Plugbert recommends
Type D (Indian 3-pin) adapter
You need a plug adapter. Plugs from Papua New Guinea (Type I) don't fit the Type C, D and M sockets in India. A Type D (Indian 3-pin) adapter fits 1 of the 3 listed socket families there. Socket variants can differ; check the actual outlet and adapter rating.
Tip: a "universal" travel adapter may be useful for several destinations. Check its wall-side plugs, grounding and power limits against your trip.

Plugbert's note on India
Type D and the larger Type M have different pin sizes. Check the actual outlet; a universal label does not establish fit or grounding.
