Hello. I'm Plugbert.

I'm a small yellow plug, and I've spent my whole life thinking about holes in walls. I was born in a hotel drawer full of abandoned adapters, and I swore that no traveller would ever again stand in an airport paying €25 for the wrong one.

This site tells you, for every country on Earth, which plugs fit, what voltage comes out of the wall, and whether the stuff in your suitcase will survive the trip. It's free, has no banner ads, and doesn't want your email. Some links to adapters may earn Plugbert a small commission, which never changes the advice .

The data is compiled from the IEC's World Plugs reference and national standards, and cross-checked by hand. Buildings vary, especially old ones, so if Plugbert and a socket disagree, believe the socket.

Spotted a mistake? Plugbert would be mortified, and grateful. Tell Plugbert .

Plugbert is a plug, not an electrician. Information here is for general travel guidance. Always check the rating label on your device and follow local electrical safety rules. Never force a plug, never remove a ground pin, and never use a damaged adapter.
