You need a plug adapter. Plugs from Australia (Type I) don't fit the Type D and G sockets in Sri Lanka. A Type D (Indian 3-pin) adapter fits 1 of the 2 listed socket families there. Socket variants can differ; check the actual outlet and adapter rating.
