๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท South Korea to ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ SwitzerlandYou'll need an adapter. Plugbert believes in you.

Switzerland uses 230 V and South Korea uses 220 V, but similar nominal voltages do not guarantee compatibility. Check that your device's input rating covers the destination supply.

What to pack

Plugbert recommends

Type C (Europlug) adapter

You need a plug adapter. Plugs from South Korea (Type F) don't fit the Type C and J sockets in Switzerland. A Type C (Europlug) adapter fits the listed socket families there. For grounded devices, get a Type J (Swiss) adapter for a compatible grounded outlet instead; it does not fit every listed outlet. Socket variants can differ; check the actual outlet and adapter rating.

For equipment requiring earth, choose a Type J (Swiss) adapter for a compatible grounded outlet. Check its supported inputs and rated load. A two-pin output cannot provide an earth connection.

Tip: a "universal" travel adapter may be useful for several destinations. Check its wall-side plugs, grounding and power limits against your trip.

The destination may use a different frequency (60 โ†’ 50 Hz). Check your device's input rating for the local frequency; a plug adapter does not change it.
