๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Cook Islands to ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท FranceNope, your plugs won't fit. But an adapter will.

France uses 230 V and the Cook Islands uses 240 V, but similar nominal voltages do not guarantee compatibility. Check that your device's input rating covers the destination supply.

What to pack

Plugbert recommends

Type C (Europlug) adapter

You need a plug adapter. Plugs from the Cook Islands (Type I) don't fit the Type C and E sockets in France. A Type C (Europlug) adapter fits the listed socket families there. For grounded devices, get a Type E (French / Schuko hybrid) adapter for a compatible grounded outlet instead; it does not fit every listed outlet. Socket variants can differ; check the actual outlet and adapter rating.

For equipment requiring earth, choose a Type E (French / Schuko hybrid) adapter for a compatible grounded outlet. Check its supported inputs and rated load. A two-pin output cannot provide an earth connection.

Tip: a "universal" travel adapter may be useful for several destinations. Check its wall-side plugs, grounding and power limits against your trip.
